On arrival we took the train back into the city and since it was raining got in a taxi back to check into the Andaz. After settling in we headed towards the Ginza area and had some great conveyor belt sushi somewhere and then called it a night.

Day 13 - A pretty leisurely day exploring Shibuya, Meiji Shrine, Harajuku areas, etc. Grabbed lunch at Afuri ramen some point, love the yuzu ramen. Then had amazing pizza at Savoy for dinner, and walked over a few blocks to do a cocktail testing with Gen Yamamoto. A really nice chill evening. It was really great having a long trip with some days not planned out to spend some leisure times throughout the trip.

Day 14 - We started the day by heading by train to Yokohama to explore that area a bit. Checked out the really cool International Ferry Terminal and then we went back into to Tokyo and ventured around the Nakameguro area which had a really cool vibe. After that we headed to Satoburi Da / Sato Briand for one of the most epic meals we have ever had, just course after course of amazing wagyu beef in a small 3 table yakinuku restaurant. Probably our favorite meal of the trip, it was incredible. Post stuffing ourselves we went back to the hotel for a night cap of some Japanese whiskey overlooking the city before passing out in a food coma.

Day 15 - Our final full day of the trip we headed to Nikiryu Ramen which has a Michelin star and amazing Tantanmen Ramen. We got there about 30 minutes before they opened and there was already a bit of a line, we got in within about 45 minutes of waiting and by the time we left the line was at least 40 people long and the place barely seats 10; This was my favorite ramen of the trip. We wandered the area for a bit before headed back towards our hotel, stopped at Donki for whiskey and random stuff for friends/family. That evening we had dinner in the Azabujuban area at a friends place who is living in Tokyo at the moment, it was good catching up. Then we headed to contact to check out a some music for a bit before heading back to the hotel and calling it a night.

Day 16 - Lazy morning with a great hotel breakfast. Then back towards NRT. ANA First class has a pretty amazing Suite check in area whey they even brought us a hot towel as we were checking in. From the suite check in area you get let out to the front of security and quickly through immigration. The ANA suite lounge was pretty great too with a bunch of buffet options as well as made to order stuff like a hamburger or curry, we had some curry before the flight. Flight was perfect just like the way there with great food and alcohol and some sleep in the lay flat seat. Jet lag the next few days was a bitch.
