@silverfox40 - Agree - I feel like you don't get to truly experience the culture if you try to squish a bunch of countries all into a few weeks though you'll definitely hit some big items off your list!
I spent 2 weeks in France and 2 weeks is clearly not too long in France, 2 weeks are clearly not too long for most European countries. It's actually a huge mistake to rush it down and try to visit as many countries as possible within a couple of weeks. This seems more achievable, I'll dedicate more time in future. Great trip details
@stephwood - Thanks so much! We truly had a trip of a lifetime and hit everything we wanted to do! We were considering renting a car but some of the toll prices were just as much as to fill up your car (our tour guide was saying 100 E at the time). We would recommend to make sure to take that into consideration for your budget!
Such an amazing itinerary, I'd love to hire a car and spend the month exploring the country. Seems like great timescales to explore these areas well. Such variety too which makes for a great trip!
What a shame about your altitude sickness!!!!!
Sounds like a fairytale of a trip! The truffle hunting sounds super cool too!!!
