Day 2: We arrived in Montreaux around early afternoon. We also checked into our hotel called La Rouvenaz. It is a nice hotel not far from the statue and has a really good ice cream place on the corner.
Day 3: We took a #chocolatetrain tour which takes you up to Guyere and you get to try a bunch of Guyere cheese and then you get to explore the town. This place is super cool to explore as it has #hrgigermuseum and restaraunt that is a bit pricy but a cool themed restaraunt as well as a #castle and other things to explore. After you have some time, they take you to #callier to do a tour and eat a lot of sample chocolates. This was an amazing tour and highly recommend everyone to go!
We went to see the #freddymercurystatue It's a gorgeous walk along the lake. This was probably my favorite town in the whole trip and we wished we could've stayed another day to explore a bit more.
@silverfox40 - agreed!!!
I've lived in Switzerland half a year now... And EVERY place I visited so far, was beautiful.
@rubyflynn92 - Yes!! The food was soooo good :) I think Switzerland is one of those hidden treasures! You wouldn't be disappointed if you chose to bump it up your list :)
Cheese and chocolate, you've spoke to my heart! Switzerland is one of those places I've always wanted to visit but never been at the top of my bucket list so I just haven't got round to it. The food may persuade me to bump it a few places up the list though. The Raclette Factory sounds like it would be incredible!
