Day 4: We arrived in Bern via train and checked our bags in the train station. We walked down one of the main streets in the middle of downtown. It had a lot of shops and a really beautiful #clocktower that does a little show on the hour. We also did the #einsteinhaus which was really neat to go through.
We had also went and explored #bernmunster We made the mistake of paying to go up a set of stairs without realizing it takes you to the tower. It is a hike but the view is completely worth it. We also walked towards the #bernbearpark but since we could see the bears across from the river we didn't actually explore it. We ate lunch at the Cafe Post Gasse which was really good food and the lady who served us was so friendly. She actually scolded us for not eating our veggies! We loved that little spot!
After we had explored we checked into the Best Western.
@silverfox40 - agreed!!!
I've lived in Switzerland half a year now... And EVERY place I visited so far, was beautiful.
@rubyflynn92 - Yes!! The food was soooo good :) I think Switzerland is one of those hidden treasures! You wouldn't be disappointed if you chose to bump it up your list :)
Cheese and chocolate, you've spoke to my heart! Switzerland is one of those places I've always wanted to visit but never been at the top of my bucket list so I just haven't got round to it. The food may persuade me to bump it a few places up the list though. The Raclette Factory sounds like it would be incredible!
