Day 2:

-Lunch at Joel Robuchon L'Atelier (splurge lunch, book reservation well in advance)
-Sunnyhills (pineapple cake store)
-Maokong Gondola
-Maokong Tea House (lovely view above the city, have a nice cup of locally-grown tea)
-Shida Night Market
-Drinks at Revolver (punk bar, concert space upstairs)
-Ximending Night Market (the "Times Square" of Taipei)
Day 3:
-Brunch at Din Tai Fung (amazing dim sum/soup dumplings. Long wait but worth it. I went to the original location in the Da'an District)
-Tian Jin Onion Pancake
-Huashan 1914 Creative Park (old factory area turned into a hipstery shopping area)
-Da'an Forest Park
-Yongkang Farmer's Market
-Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall (changing of the guards hourly)
-Drinks at Zhang Men Brewing Company
-Dinner at 盛園絲瓜小籠湯包 (soup dumplings, no English, not as good as Din Tai Fung)
-Linjiang Street Night Market
-Shilin Night Market (out of the way but huge and worth it)
Day 4:
-Breakfast at Yong He Soy Milk King (a must do!)
-Beitou Hot Springs
-Spring City Resort (paid ~$20 USD for an hour of a private thermal bath, including free shuttle to/from the MRT. I got lucky but good idea to reserve ahead of time)
-Lunch at Fuhong Beef Noodles (best beef noodle soup of my life)
-明池豆花 (tofu pudding dessert shop, I didn’t really like it, but worth trying)
-Dinner at TKK Fried Chicken (chain)
-Drinks at Book ing Bar (speakeasy hidden behind a bookcase)
-Liaoning Street Night Market
