Flew in overnight from JFK, New York - Norwegian is a great budget airline with the best flight options to get to Europe. Stayed at a fancy Hotel Bristol for a night. Had the entire day to explore the following highlights:
- The Royal Palace - one of the most important buildings, great walk from Karl Johans Gate, the main street of city of Oslo
- Oslo Cathedral
- Norwegian Parliament - it is in the heart of the city lined with streets full of shops and restaurants
- Akershus Fortress - stunning medieval castle with sweeping views
You can walk around the city to see these attractions, recommend staying in central location.
