We stayed at the Hotel Monterey Le Frere, although our taxi driver believed we were meant to stay in the expensive hotel sadly it was not in the same area. We were in a central location, close to a train station.
Spent the first day exploring our local area, having snacks and Okonomiyaki, headed over to Kobe for some good eats and more shopping before returning to the hotel to rest. My husband attempted to see the Namba Shrine, however it was closed for restoration. Undeterred, he went to the famous Glico sign, and walked along the lengthy Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping street.
The next day, no stay in Osaka can be complete without a trip to Universal studios. Spent the full day there.
The last day, my husband had booked a 3 hour spa trip for us at Kuu Head Spa. A must do for self-care. We then travelled by Shinkasen back to Tokyo.
