Day 14:
I arrived in Salzburg at noon,so I took a taxi to Augustinerbrau, where I had a nice mug of beer and sausages with fries. The house in which Mozart was born in was very close so I paid it a visit. It's a place full of history and information about Mozart's childhood and family.
In the evening I took a ride to Hohensalzburg, the fortress on the hill above the city for a classic scenic view of the city's lights and to see some medieval weaponry.Eventually I got back to the city and I went back to Augustinerbrau to have a nice beer before sleep.
Day 15:
In my second day in Salzburg I visited the Salzburg Cathedral with its beautiful squares and the catacombs. The ancient catacombs are full of history and you get a nice view over the city. You have to pay $3 to get up there.
Day 16:
In day 16 I took a daytrip to Halstatt.Probably the most beautiful place in Austria,it is a village tucked away in the Alps near Salzburg,it provides a very scenic view of the mountains and the crystal clear waters. It's a very touristy place and you can find a lot of cafes and restaurant to try local specialties.
I ate a schnitzel and had a coffee at a typical restaurant and then I spent the rest of the day walking around, relaxing, before I returned to Salzburg to continue the trip.
