Brussels was mostly chosen as a go between for Milan and Prague. Ryanair had no flights between the two cities that fit my schedule, so I made this quick pitstop. The day I spent there was mostly just exploring aimlessly. The city is lovely, with lots more to see and do than I expected. There were a lot of super talented street musicians that played for huge crowds, and the UN visitor center was a really cool insight into European politics and was totally free to get into. The Atomium at the World's Fair Grounds was also a sight to be seen, although I wasn't able to justify spending the money to go to the top. Not far from there was the Design museum which was super interesting and strange. Well worth the few Euros it cost to get in.
Did you try the famous paella? Spain is just beautiful
