DAY 3
My next destination was Las Vegas,Nevada. The guy that hosted me in Arizona drove me there. We drove across the famed Hoover Dam on our way and I can say that it was very impressive. It was built in the 30's,and it may be the most famous dam in the USA,but it's not actually the biggest in the country. The views were still breathtaking, though.
Once we arrived in Vegas,we ate at a diner near the outskirts of the city, and the guy hit the road back home.I took a bus to the downtown areas of the city, passing by the notorious sign that welcomes you to the city.I stopped at the nearest station to take a picture with the sign, before taking a taxi to the notorious Strip-one of the most famous streets in the country, known for its grand hotels and replicas of world-famous monuments like the Eiffel Tower and the Egyptian Sphinx.I took a tour of the street, wonderstruck by the architecture of the buildings and their lights. My next destination was the Mob Museum. The entrance fee was $17.Everything there was really cool, and I learned a lot about the history of organized crime in America and the Mafia in particular.I've been watching movies and TV shows about the Mafia since I was a teenager,so it was truly incredible for me.The place had the right atmosphere as well,so I cannot recommend it more to people that like Mafia movies and TV shows as well.
I ended the day by going to the Bellagio Hotel.I couldn't afford spending the night there, but I wanted to see the fountain shows. The show takes place every 30 minutes from 3PM to 8PM and every 15 minutes from 8PM to midnight on weekdays. It was an awesome experience and one of the top things you can do for free around the world for sure.I was exhausted. The cheapest hotel room I could find was $50,but at least I had a good rest.
DAY 4
In my second day in the Sin City,I woke up and had breakfast at the hotel, before heading out to explore more of the city.
I started my day at the Main Street Station Casino, where I tried my luck with $5 at the slots machine.I wasn't very lucky that day,but at least I took a leak on the former Berlin Wall,as a fragment of it is situated on the wall behind the urinals of one of the casino's bathrooms. After the visit to the casino,I had a pizza at a restaurant nearby.Very tasty, but as expensive as most things in the city are.My next destination of the day was the National Atomic Testing Museum.Besides being the home state of the world's gambling capital,Nevada is also famous for one thing-being the place where atomic bombs were tested during the Cold War.It's a very well-curated place, and I learned a lot about the Cold War and such. The Mob museum was my favorite, but this one was very good as well and a great way to spend an hour or so in Las Vegas.
In the evening,I headed over to the stratosphere,to ride the famous rooftop roller coaster.I waited for sunset to get a better experience. The price for a ride was $20 and it was one of the most thrilling and jaw-dropping experiences I've ever had.Back on the ground,I went to get dinner and then a good night's rest, because I had to wake up early to catch a flight the next day.

I love the places you have gone on this trip. Keeping in mind the museum in Arizona and those key spots in California!
This is a great one week itinerary to see the best of west coast! I have always had a dream of working and traveling at the same time.. some day!
