When I was in college,I heard of a program that helps you to go to the United States to work and travel over the course of four months by finding a job for you and much more.I love traveling and new experiences,so I applied for the program, and I got selected.I spent 3 months working in Colorado, and I traveled around the Western Coast of the US in the last week I spent in the country. This is the itinerary I had:
DAY 1
In the first day of traveling I hopped on a flight from Denver,Colorado to Phoenix,Arizona. The price of the flight was $40,which is average,I'd say,for a 2-hour flight in the USA.I arrived in Phoenix at noon,so I had
a sandwich for lunch at a deli near the airport, and I was picked up by a friend and his wife, who were gonna be my hosts for the following two nights.
We went for a walk in downton Phoenix, and then we checked out the Heard Museum, dedicated to Native American art and culture. The admission fee was $18.The museum is very informative,as I learned a lot about the culture and the history of the Native American tribes,The museum has an extensive collection of art pieces and artefacts related to the Native American world, and I totally recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the area.
We spent about 2 hours wandering, and then we headed to a bar to have a nice pint before going to rest at their place.
DAY 2
In the second day we woke up early to hit the road towards the state's northern borders,to see the iconic Grand Canyon. The entrance was free, because the guy had a ticket that granted him free entrance for a year, that he bought for $70
We arrived at the South Rim of the canyon, and we went on a guided tour on the Rim Trail. The fee was $55 per person and we got to see some mesmerising landscapes. The guide was a very likeable and knowledgeable person, and we got to see a group of elk in the forest.
It was very hot in some areas, but the landscapes we saw made up for it.It's truly an experience of a lifetime, you really have to see the canyon with your own eyes to see how massive and colorful it gets.

I love the places you have gone on this trip. Keeping in mind the museum in Arizona and those key spots in California!
This is a great one week itinerary to see the best of west coast! I have always had a dream of working and traveling at the same time.. some day!
