Bagan...
...is probably the reason why you are reading this. And it was everything that I expected and more. It doesn’t really make sense to structure this part of the itinerary, since visiting this place is rather simple. You rent yourself a scooter, and just drive around and explore. You might wonder how you should spend 3 days like that, but trust me, you get caught up in the beautiful temples.
Just drive around and stop when you see something nice. Follow the local crowds for special places and climb up pagodas to get and extraordinary view. There is no way you run out of places to visit. I recommend apps like Maps.me for accessing cool spots offline and navigating through the streets. You can also mark your favourite position and maybe return for the sunset.
The sunrise is of course the experience you really really don’t want to miss. We organised a Tuk-Tuk driver through our accommodation, bringing us to the best spot on the right time to watch the air balloons rise over the misty temples. I am sure if you want to experience the balloon ride it is also very nice and organizable through your accommodation.
