Is your gateway to hiking in the Shan State, a gorgeous part of the country that is inhabited by a different ethnic group. 2 nights were spent on a hiking trip through the jungle of the shan mountains.
As a guide i can really recommend Mr. Bike, we joined one of his tours and we were guided through the jungle, ate delicious food and slept in a treehouse he built by himself. It was an amazing experience, and although the hike is really challenging, i loved (nearly) every moment of it. The cherry on top was delicious Shan noodle soup at the end.
After the hike we needed a day of rest and just chilled in Hsipaw.
After this you can either go back to Mandalay and fly out from there or go back to Yangon and fly out from that city. (or possibly extend your trip).
