Adventures in Japan - Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe & Kyoto

DAY 1

• Arrived via train late evening, rested and ate hotel food for dinner.

DAY 2

• Osaka Castle
• Dōtonbori
  • I wasn't a fan of Dōtonbori. Just felt like a gimicky tourist trap zone. We ate up plenty of what it had to offer (takoyaki, okonomiyaki, etc). It just wasn't my scene.
    
• Shitennoji (Buddhist Temple)
• Shinsekai
  • I appreciated Shinsekai despite it being a touristic neighborhood. It oozed nostalgia and felt like Japan's version of Coney Island.
• Echigen (for kushikatsu)
  • Hole in the wall type place, but I liked the food and the atmosphere.
• Rikuro-ojisan no mise (for cheese cake)
