Day 1
The main place to be in Venice is the Piazza de San Marco and nearby Ponte de Rialto bridge, so we spent a lot of time here today. Just walking around and seeing the shops took a good chunk of the afternoon. Then we went to Doges Palace which is a beautiful building with tons of art and architecture to look at. We bought the Venezia Unica pass which included a lot of museum ticket entries. Afterwards we had dinner at a place called Gam Gam.
Day 2
We went to the Peggy Guggenheim museum which was a huge treat. Aesthetically it's gorgeous and there's lots of interesting modern art. After that, we went to Ca Pesaro which is another museum. We also walked around the Jewish Quarter and had dinner at Ghimel Garden which is gorgeous: it's somewhat indoors, somewhat outdoors, and you can get a table by the water which is really nice.
Day 3
For our last day here we went to Murano to see the glass factory. There is a museum with lots of stunning glasswork and lots of shops where you can buy glass jewelry and goods. Some offer glassblowing demonstrations too. You can take a boat to get here that leaves from right in the center of the city. After that it was time to fly back home but overall it was an incredible trip!
