As part of our stay in Florence, we took a day trip to Cinque Terre, which you can get to by train. It took a little under 3 hours to get there. We did a boat tour from a company called Enjoy Cinque Terre which was great! It was a small boat and the guide explained all about the different locations. They also let us go swimming in a secluded waterfall area. After the boat tour we walked around all the shops and did a little hiking up the mountain. It is so gorgeous and scenic there. Then we took the train back to Florence.
