Day 1: We took a drive from Orlando Florida into Cocoa Beach. It took us around 1 hour to get there. Traffic was not bad at all and it was a nice easy drive in. As you drive in you see the cruise ships docked and the ocean. Once we got into the beach area traffic did get a littlle hevy because it is a small beach town. We drove around the town for a little while looking for a parking place. Parking is hard to find. We ended up finding a place where parking was $7.00 an hour so we parked there. #cocoabeach
Lunch: We went to the Coconuts on the Beach to eat and have drinks! It is very cute and very beachy. There is seating inside and outside and it is right on the beach. They have daily music in the afternoon which was nice to sit have a drink and listen to music. They have a great seafood menu. I had the salmon and it is highy recommend. Its a little pricey but it is a beach tourist town so thats to be expected. #livemusic #bestsalmon
Pier: The pier has a restaurant and bar at the end of it. The pier can get very busy and there may be a line to get in and walk on it but it goes fast. It goes all the way out and you can see people fishing and you can have a drink at the restaurant at the end and sit and look at the water. The views are great. Its not priced bad for drinks its the usual we felt like. #pierdrinks #waterviews
Beach: We spent a few hours haning out at the beach. The sand is not the whitest but its very pretty. We went in April so the water was still a little chilly but nothing horrible. We still went in and swam. The beach was packed but it was also spring break season so that is to be epxected. Be sure to bring towels and chairs as ther is nothing to rent once you get there. They do have showers at the end of the beach for you to rinse off at. #chillywater
Great beach, spent a short day here once but really enjoyed it
Never heard of Cocoa Beach but it sounds like a great place. Great itinerary!!
