Accomidations: We checked into the Renassiance New York Times Square Hotel and it was the best location! You can look out your window and see time square and all the beautiful lights at night! The hotel was the price you would expect to stay in the city around $300.00 a night but parking is what kills you! We had a car becuase we drove in for the day and parking was $50.00 a day. It was valet parking and you had in and out access but it is a bit extreme in the city to have a car. If you can manage not to have a car I would not get one. The hotel is a perfection location and you can walk everywhere you want to go or even walk to the train and take it wherever you like. 

Dinner and drinks: We went to Serra On the Roof and it was magical! As you walk into this rooftop bar it is decorated with flowers all over! They eveh have a swin at the bar which is covered with flowers. The fake celling has floating flowers above you and the view of NY is the best! We did make reservations so I highly recommend doing do before going. We went up for drinks and dinners. We had the charcutterie board which was great! it was filled with cheeses, lots of good meats, olives, bread and much much more. We also spent some time in Eataly. Which is an Italian store but you can also walk around with wine while you shop!! They have foods you can grab to eat there and sit at a table and eat in drink inside the store! #eatly #rooftop 

Shopping: Our hotel was blocks from all the shopping. This was our main reason for the trip. If you love to shop stay at this hotel and walk everywhere! Its the perfect location and if you do need an uber its only a few dollars. #shoppinginny 

Activities: Before we left you took a boat tour of the statue of liberty. This was around $15.00 a person. It took about 3 hours. We caught the boat in Battery park which again was not far from the hotel. We did take the car and again parking was hard to find. If you do not need to drive your car there do not becuase its so hard to find a place and once you do parking is so much. Seeing the Statue of Liberty was great and the tour was awesome with lots of histroy. It was packed with people but the boat is big so you really do not notice all the people that are on there. #statueofliberty
