Day 1- On first day we stayed at charleston city. there are lots of beaches and historic sites near the city. We visited Fort Sumter national monument and then we went to see rainbow row buildings. We enjoyed all the historic buliding, architecture, french colony around the city. You will definitely Enjoy this beautiful authentic Historic city. We spent the whole time roaming the city and having seafoods. On evening we went to the old city market which is an historic market.
We took Hourse tour to explore the city it will cost 45$/PER PERSON for ONE HOUR. You can also took BOAT CRUISE 36$/PER Person (1-2 hours) to enjoy the sea.
Day 2- As a beach person on our second day we visited 3 beaches. in the morning we went to the Kiawah island. I must say all the beaches are super active and preety cneat and clean. You van do kayaking, surfing, boating or fising as per your wish. I love to read a book while enjoying the soothing wave on the beach.
Then we went to Isle of palms. This road towards the beach will gives you a vibe of miami. there are tons of palm trees besides the road. You have to buy PARKING TICKET 10$/per to park your car there. Also there are NO available roadside FREE Parking near this beach.
Lastly on afnernoon we went to Sullivan's Island. Here you can park your car near ROADSIDE FREE PARKING. I enjoyed roaming around beaches so much. We enjoyed the breathtaking sunset there. Lastly we have sea food for our dinner. All food cost is quite affordable there.
Day 3- Next morning we went to see Folly Beach. It took us almost 1.5 hours drive to reach there. Folly Beach is a city on Folly Island, in South Carolina, just south of Charleston. We PARKED OUR CAR FREE ON THE ROADSIDE AREA. You can also buy PARKING 7$ in the Folly beach Park for full day. Folly Beach County Park has picnic areas and a pelican rookery. There are lots of Souvenir shop. You can enjoy fishing and lots of birds seeing there.
Then we went to Lighthouse Inlet Heritage reserve. Lighthouse was open in summer so you can climb there and see the sea from top of it.
Here comes the end of our journey. So simple tips for you guys-
- Almost all beach has roadside free parking except ISLE of Palms (10$ Parking)
- You have to pay for parking in the charleston Downtown.
- Boat Cruise 36$/person
- Horse tour 45$/person
- walking guide 21$/person
- Lots of souvenir Shops
- Ghosts of Charleston Night time Walking tour 35$/person
Enjoy tour trip to the Historic Charleston Downtown. Have a safe trip.
