Gir National Park - Lions & Nature !!

Day 1:
We reached Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Sasan Gir, by a train from Mumbai till Rajkot. From the Rajkot Railway Station, we hired a cab. 

Upon arrival, we checked in to the hotel called "Gir Jungle Lodge Resort". The climate at the Park was very soothing.

Among other things, Gir National Park is the home of the Royal Asiatic Lion. and it has Leopards, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Nilgai etc.

We stayed overnight at the hotel & had our lunch and dinner as well.

Day 2:
The Day starts early if you want to go for the Open Jeep Game Drive. We woke up at around 6, got ready and had some tea. We then proceeded for early morning Open Jeep Game Drive which starts around 7 AM. We were fortunate enough to spot two lions and spotted whole lot of spotted deers and many birds. There was guide in the jeep who was explaining us all along. The ticket booking for the Jungle Safari happened at the location itself.

We came back to the lodge in by 9.30 AM and had our breakfast. After breakfast, we just relaxed and explored the nature around the resort. After relaxing lunch at the resort, we then set out for afternoon jeep safari to the National Park. In the evening, we had some spa & massage. 

Day 3:
We relaxed in the lap of mother nature and checked out by afternoon
