Arrival
Tamarindo is readily acessible by car, and getting there will require passing through Liberia again. If you don't feel like another 90 minute drive, or are just not interested in the surf Tamrindo is famous for, you coukd be forgiven for just hanging around Playa Hermosa a while longer. For tose willing to make the trek, be aware that Tamarindo has a limited road network and is subject to traffic jams.
Day 1-2: Beach and Surf and Scuba
Tamrindo is a world famous surf spot, has stunning beaches, and exciting marine life. The estuary north of town hosts a large magrove forest where you can find saltwater crocodiles and monkeys, and the beaches further to the north are part of the Las Baulas National Marine Park, and serve as turtle nesting grounds. There is no real itinerary here as it;s mostly about relaxing on the beach and doing whatever activities you enjoy most.
