Clumsy First trip to Japan

• Check in - Hotel Keihan Kyoto GRANDE -> 31 Higashikujyo-nishisannou-cho, Minami, Kyoto, Kyoto-fu, 601-8003

Checked in pretty late, bought some convenience food and supplies and went to bed.

///// Day 6: July 20th 2018 /////

• Fushimi-Inari Shrine
• Nara Deer Park

Went to the shrine early morning until lunch - then took the train to Nara Park and spent the rest of the day there.

///// Day 7: July 21th 2018 /////

• Osaka Aquarium
• Den Den Machi

Aquarium was very busy - very kids friendly. Den Den Machi is probably one of the best places to visit if you're into 80-90's Japan culture.

///// Day 8: July 22th 2018 /////

• Arashiyama groves

Off-day, we are completely pooped at this point - just spent the day relaxing and cycling around the bamboo groves.

///// Day 9: July 23th 2018 /////

• Kiyomizudera

The days are getting shorter and shorter, our wallets thinner and thinner. Spent most of the day there, and then into the old streets of Higashiyama. Very tourist friendly, lots of souvenir shops.

• Mount Koya early morning
• Check out, Leaving for Tokyo again

Went for some early morning hiking at Mount Koya, then it's time to leave for Tokyo, Shinkansen again.
