We took a bus from Venice to Ljubljana. We arrived late at night and ate Kebab before we checked into our hostel that used to be a prison! The "downtown" of Ljubljana is gorgeous and we enjoyed ridiculously cheap coffee, wine and beer. We also went to a little museum and went up to see the castle. On our 4th day, we rented a car and drove through the Slovenian alps and stopped at Lake Bled. It was gorgeous!
