Day 4 (continued)

-From Sete Rios, take the train (CP-Comboios de Portugal) to Sintra 

-taxi or Uber to hotel or AirBnB (We walked from the train station to AirBnb and that was a mistake. Too many hills and cobblestones to manage with rolling luggage)

-Myths and Legends

-walk around, dinner, drinks etc 

Days 5, 6, 7 (no car needed - bus or hike)

Take your time exploring these places. Organized tours do all this in one day. We enjoyed taking our time and burning off some calories hiking  

-Pena Palace

-Castle of the Moors

-Quinta da Regalaria

-National Palace of Sintra

-Vila Sassetti

-If you have a car

Day 8

-CP train from Sintra to Cascais 

-Points of interest: Boca do Inferno, lighthouse, Forteza de Nossa Senhora da Luz, Citadel. I had a friend show me around...if you need to plan your route yourself, this website should be able to help with that

-CP train back to Sintra

Day 9

-breakfast, checkout, take Uber to Costa da Caparica
