I stayed at the Rosen Inn Universal as it is a Universal Studios partner hotel. Perfectly positioned on International Drive with huge comfy rooms, a pool, a free shuttle bus to and from Universal Studios and a trips desk in the lobby to help you pick where you are going to go.
Universal Studios was the best 3 days of my trip to Orlando. I had so much fun but there are a few things that you need to know before your visit. The best thing to do is buy your park passes before you get to the park. You can get them online from Universal or other tour operators so shop around.
You can take your own snacks as it can be quite expensive to eat in the park but to save a bit of money, take your own. To save monery on drinks, buy one of their refillable soft drink cups which is about $15 and then you can refill them all day for free from any of their drinks machines. The best bit is that you can keep the cup and the next time you go to Universal, you can re-activate the cup for $7 and get refills again.
The best place to stay in Orlando is International Drive, you can get around on the I-Ride to get to loads of attractions like Ripleys Believe It Or Not, Sea Life, Pirates Cove, Wonderworks and loads more. You can get passes really cheap for the I-Ride but to save you time and money, get them online before you travel.
I stayed at Rosen Inn Universal which is an amazing hotel with huge comfy rooms, a heated pool and a free shuttle to Universal Studios.
