Kos

Kardamena is a fantastic little town with plenty to do and a lot of bars and restauarants. During the high season, Kardamena is a party town, there are lots of bars that line the harbour

There are tour operators for you to book trips with, most of the boat trips go from Kos Town so there will be coach travel for them. I would highly recommend the 3 island tour, Zia and the Greek night.

They have a great scuba diving centre that takes people out on dives daily.

I have been here 3 times and stayed in different hotels which are:-

Mitsis Family Village - a 3 star all inclusive hotel on the top of a hill in the Mitsis hotel complex. A lovely big sea water pool, the rooms aren't in the main building, they are lined up along the the hill. The food is great and the staff are great fun.

Mitsis Summer Palace - a 4 star hotel on a cliff over looking the sea. They have rooms in and around the main building. They have a fresh water indoor pool and an outdoor sea water pool. As well as they main restaurant, they also have a pool side Italian restaurant and a seafood restaurant on the beach. They also have a lift to the beach!

The Sunbeam - A fantastic little hotel with it's own beach and steps into the sea so it has beautiful views. It's a family run hotel so the staff are all lovely. There isn't a lift to the rooms so not great for people with mobility issues but the rooms are nice and roomy.
