I had to stop in Mostar for the bridge. It wasn't that I wanted to take pictures of the beautiful water or the gorgeous architecture; I wanted to jump off it. After the bus arrived around 13:00 I immediately searched for food once I had taken some gotten Bosnian Marks from a bank. The food is so good in Bosnia, you can't go wrong with a Burek to start. After I had an entire fast food meal for the equivalent of $2, I found the bridge in question and boy is it massive.
It does cost some money to take the lessons and do the jump but it is a very unique experience I would recommend to the daring. I'm no stranger to 40 foot cliff jumps but this is completely different, take the step slightly too big (which I did) and land just a bit sideways/on your back. I had a nice bruised tailbone and hip/quad for 1.5 weeks but it was worth it with the massive crowd cheering haha.
After the jump I decided not to walk too much further, just relaxed in the heat until the train was leaving for Sarajevo. A day is plenty for Mostar.
Love the photos. Slovenia and Croatia just got bumped up on my to-visit list :P
Amazing itinerary and pictures! The Dubrovnik pictures are so close to how they show in the 'Game of Thrones' show :)
