Hello,
I am in college. I live in an apartment and my roomate is moldovan. He wanted to show me the beuties of his native country so he took me on a trip to Moldova.
Day 1,
We arrived ,at 8 o'clock in the morning, in the airport and we took a taxi to the hostel. We booked a room for 12 dollars ( 199 moldovan lei ). We went to get coffee and then we went out to explore the city. First, we visited the Museum of National History. We were amazed by the collection of artefacts dating since the ancient times of Moldova, up to the modern day. Then, we visited the Millitary Museum, where we took a glimpse of the soviet aircraft. The entrance fee was 10 moldovan lei ( 0,6 dollars ) . We went to eat "placinte", which are traditional flat cakes, filled with cheese and boiled cabbage. The last place that we visited was "The Valley of the Mills", where we saw a Lenin statue to get a look of the interesting communist past of Moldova. For dinner, we got a delicious "borČ™" and a bottle of tasty Moldovan wine and we chilled out in the room for the rest of the evening.
Day 2,
We woke up filled with joy and we took a taxi to "Cerbul de Aur", one of the most prestigious restaurants in Moldova. There, we ate breakfast and got a mug of black tea. After leaving the restaurant, we walked to "Stephen the Great" park. We chilled there until later in the day, when we took a bus to "Buiucani District" to see the Jewish Cemetery.
Day 3,
In the third day, we took a $0,15 bus to see the Cricova Winery ( the second biggest winery in Moldova ). We took a tour and learned a lot about the wine making history in the region. We got to taste one of the Cricova wines and were shocked by the wonderful taste of it. We headed back to the city and ate at the Dublin bar. We had a nice dinner and tasted the Cricova wine once again.
