Hotel: Emerald Beach Resort
Day 1:
The hotel was actually a short walk from the airport (it was quite the adventure but I would definitely recommend taking a taxi if it looks like it will rain). I thought that we would be able to hear the planes throughout the day and night but that was not a problem at all.
Upon arrival at Emerald Beach Resort they give you 2 drink vouchers that you can use outside of happy hour. We decided to take advantage of the happy hour that day before making our way to the beach (Lindbergh Bay Beach) located steps away from the Emerald Beach Bar. The beach here is beautiful!! Little did I know that the beaches would only get better from here.
We had Dinner at the resort and everything was absolutely delicious! We did not regret our decision.
After dinner we went for a moonlit walk and relaxed beneath the stars on the beach chairs left on the sand.
Day 2:
We had breakfast at Tickles Dockside Pub which served your typical american breakfast (I had an omelette with potatoes and toast), again everything was great!
From there we made our way to St. John’s Island, in order to get there we took a taxi and the ferry. Once we reached the Island we picked up lunch to take to the beach from Uncle Joe’s World Famous B.B.Q. There was a debate on whether we should go to Maho Bay Beach OR Trunk Bay Beach. We ended up going to Trunk Bay Beach… THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES WE HAVE EVER SEEN AND SWAM IN.
We had dinner back at the hotel again this evening, and you guessed it everything was delicious!
We were able to relax (again) on the beach this evening before heading back to the room.
Day 3:
On this day we visited Gladys’ Cafe for brunch. This place did not disappoint. We left satisfied and full for our day at the beach.
We visited Magens Bay Beach on this day. Another Beautiful Beach!
We were told to go to Mafolie Hotel for dinner that evening but to our dismay this location was under renovation. We used this location to take some photos and then our taxi driver took us to French Quarter Bistro so that we could actually have dinner that evening (Lisa was great!)! Everything was scrumptious, we savored every bite and then also had dessert.
We relaxed on our beach when we arrived back at our hotel.
Day 4:
For breakfast we went to a Josie’s Cafe/ Bakery and bought sandwiches and beverages for our trip to Coki beach. This food was exactly what I needed!
We went to Coki Point Beach and had lunch and drinks here. This beach was a fantastic way to end our last day. We had so much fun and decided that next time we come we would stay at Margaritaville which is the hotel that is closest to this location.
For dinner we ate back at the hotel and ended our night relaxing on the beach.
Wow, great pics, loving the clear water. It's good to know that travel is still alive and well during these unfortunate times.
