First drove over the friendship bridge to customs and once I was through customs I was taken to the statues of Kim Il sung and Kim Jong Il where we laid down flowers in respect of the founder and leader of North Korea.
Then I received a history lesson about the region of Sinuiju before being escorted to a soap factory about a hour away.
It was great to see the factory in action and after the factory viewing we stopped at a park where we could interact with the locals.
Lunch is a important meal in Asia and aswell as some North Korean delicacies and local beer we were entertained with some singing and dancing.
Afer lunch we visited a art gallery where we could purchase some amazing art pieces before heading to a performing school to see young kids perform singing, dancing and other awesome things.
Was a amazing experience and would recommend it. I booked with Koryo Tours and crossed over from Dandong in China.
Going to North Korea sounds incredible. Will have to look up Koryo Tours!
