Cancun, on the Yucatan Peninsula, is Mexico’s largest and most popular resort area. With Jaw-dropping turquoise waters, white sand that's akin to powdered sugar, and delicious fresh seafood are just part of Cancun's allure. You will find paradisiacal beaches, fascinating archaeological sites nearby, and all the finest things you can think of, it makes for a great destination for couples and families, but also for solo travelers.
Day 1 in Cancun:
Cancun airport<Playa Delfines< Hotel zone< Playa Gaviota Azul<Faro de punta Cancun
Accomodation: Krystal Cancun; $80/per night
From the airport we rented a car and started heading towards the pre booked hotel Krystal Cancun. This is a very nice hotel! The suites are spacious and modern. The regular rooms are nice, too. You can count on a pool table, indoor bar, buffet, outdoor bar, and pool here. The beachfront is AMAZING! Crystal-clear water, nice sandy beach. I'll definitely book here again. While heading to the hotel we also stopped at Playa Delfines. Playa Delfines; long white-sand beach featuring shallow waters & dolphin sightings. This palace is also known as El Mirador (The Lookout)! There is even a wooden lookout where a colorful collection of letters spelling out “Cancun” provides the perfect backdrop for some terrific vacation photos. !. Most of the beaches in Cancun are absolutely beautiful, but what makes Playa Delfines exceptional is the fact that there are no hotels, restaurants or anything else built on this beach. It is easily accessible by bus and there is free parking available should you choose to drive. You can easily see corals, algae, etc. later we stopped at the hotel zone where we booked our accommodation. After grabbing lunch from the local subs place we headed to Playa Gaviota Azul. Unbelievable the various shades of blue and green. Love this beach. One of the best Cancun's beaches. You can find both high and low waves, good music and amazing spots for your photos. You can easily spend your whole afternoon here. We also visited Faro de punta Cancun; This is a lesser-known tourist icon, but a nice place to visit. It's a fully functional lighthouse that also serves as a meeting place. By the way, the sunsets are magnificent from here. In the evening we went to Aquamarina Cafe for dinner. This place offers rich local and international dishes in its menu and stands out especially for its large buffet breakfast with Mexican specialties. The dining room has spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea with sunrises that will take your breath away. We were enjoying our favorite drinks while the sun was setting!! How wonderful life could be! Unbelievable and unutterable experience.
Day 2:
Playa Langosta<Playa Tortugas< Marina Chac Chi<Cancun Food Tours<Isla Mujeres<Muelle de Isla Mujeres
Playa Tortugas is one of Cancun’s most popular public beaches, offering a festive culture. It has long white-sand beach featuring clear, shallow waters, a playground, restaurants & public restrooms. Just a short trip from the downtown area, the beach is crowded with people from all walks of life. The atmosphere is exciting, and this is the place to be if you are chasing the Cancun party experience. Play beach volleyball, or jump off the pier with the locals before relaxing with a cocktail. Playa Tortugas is an excellent beach for water activities, and offers snorkeling, swimming and bungee jumping.
The Isla Mujeres is located off the coast of Cancun, on an area of 7.5 km long and an average of 500 meters wide, Isla Mujeres has much to offer as natural parks, specialty restaurants serving international and regional bars where hear the trova and island rhythms, beach clubs, Caribbean shows, swimming with dolphins, turtle farm and endless things to discover. It can be reached by ferry or boat from Puerto Juarez and Punta Sam, Playa Linda or Garrafón Cruise that part of Embarcadero Km.4 located in the Hotel Zone and above Garrafón Park or in the Hotel Zone of Cancun . The cost of the ferry for a roundtrip adult ticket to Isla Mujeres leaving from the Gran Puerto Ferry Terminal is around $16 USD and for children the cost of a roundtrip ticket is around $13 USD.
For dinner we stopped the cancun food tour. If you are a gastronome and would love to eat authentic Mexican Food at Cancun local restaurants. You also can get a local food tour guide to take a journey through Mexican food!
Day 3: On day 3 we strolled near the hotel zone and went to explore local markets.
la isla shopping village<Parque de Las Palapas <Coco Bongo
la isla shopping village: La Isla Shopping Village is a bustling area in the Hotel Zone full of amazing restaurants, bars, street performers and shopping brands. The Village also has an Interactive Aquarium, which is not that big of an aquarium and we’ve definitely seen better but what it does offer is a fun activity of swimming with the dolphins.
Even though the hotel zone is full with restaurants but as it is a tourist spot; the food is fused with blend taste! To taste real maxican food we head out to Parque de Las Palapas. Try local authentic maxican food and drinks.
The bongo tour offered by the coco bongo is the funnest way to explore the local nightlife, with more than 6 hours of open bar and the wildest party team you'll ever meet!It happens in Cancun everydays. Very fun place to enjoy local nightlife.

- Summers can be pretty harsh in Mexico with high temperatures, but you will find great weather in Cancun between December and April, with January to March being the peak season and hence the most crowded too. But if you travel during early December when the deals are still great and the places aren’t as packed either.
- Cancun hurricane season runs from August through November, so please avoid this time period
- You will find lots of hotel, motel with different price range in Hotel Zone and this the safest areas in Cancun
- U.S. dollars are widely accepted, but stick to pesos
- Taxis in Cancun are pricey, and buses are cheap.
