VANCITY!
Beautiful Vancouver. Famous for its parks and being nestled right on the waters edge, I was fortunate enough to be able to take a weekend trip down here to notarize some documents and I took advantage of being there while I could!
STANLEY PARK!
Walking distance from the downtown core, Stanley Park is nothing short of spectacular. It boasts a series of trails nestled amongst massive spruce and pine trees. It is a very "Canada" vibe and if you go far enough you may even find a beach or two. The park is massive and you could certainly get lost in there if there were no signs. At the end marks the Lions Bridge connecting you to North Vancouver!
DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER!
So much to see and do all over the place, this city is truly alive and you can see it in the streets. Street art is prevolant and it's quite a younger community. The plethora of bars and restaurants will catch your eye and have you curious and hungrier than you thought you were! Down the pierside there are alot more upscale places that overlook the water. You're paying for the view!
CN RAILWAY STATION!
Believe it or not there's a passenger train that disembarks from Vancouver and stretches all the way across Canada to Toronto. The entire trip takes about 4 or 5 days I believe but the sites you see along the way are breathtaking. The train station itself is situated in a pretty cool area and is defintley worth a gander.
I wish I had more to say other than just go check it out! I only spent the weekend down here and it was enough to make me want to move here. The only bummer is cost of living. Vancouver is rated in the top 10 most expensive cities in the world. Expect to shell out a few dollars here, but again, all in good fun and memories!
Great recommendations! Keeping these in mind for my next trip.
