Week Trip in Croatia

Here is stayed at the Mellow Monkey. This was a pretty spacious hostel, with a little rooftop area to enjoy the sites. There is also a simple bar on site. I didn't have much time in Zadar but I did enjoy walking around the City Walls and Gates which are the defense systems built up around the city still standing from the 1500s. 

A must-see here is the Sea Organ. There are steps that go down into the sea and as the waves roll up onto the steps, they create musical notes. Hard to explain so you'll have to check it out yourself! 

I also took a day trip to Plitvice Lakes. These are very touristy during the busy season, though I was there in the off season so there were few people out and about (See the snow falling in the picture? Pack for cold weather if you're not going in the middle of summer!). They're gorgeous and it's a fun day trip to take.
