Day 1: Arrive in beautiful Waikiki in the late morning. The airport is small so it is easy to find everything and it makes it a lot quicker to get your stuff and walk out.
Hotel
We checked into the beautiful Hilton Hawaiian Village which is located right on the ocean. The views are so unreal that you can not even begin to explain it. Our room was not ready but they held our bags and we went off to explore the hotel. The hotel has a beautiful big pool that is almost on the beach. There are plent of chairs and even a little slide for kids. The landscape is beautiful they have fish ponds with fish swimming in them, flowers planted everywhere, the decor is amazing and it is a big open air hotel. No matter where you are you can see the water. There is a bar right next to the pool and they have people coming around taking your order by the pool for food and drinks. They have a nice restaurant on the other side of the pool which serves a big breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner. The views are amazing of the ocean and it is also all open air. On the property of the hotel there is little shopping village with places to buy coffee, have lunch, dinner, or breakfast, shopping from cheap to expensive or you can just walk around the village and explore or just sit and have a drink. #hiltonhawaiianvillage #beautifulviews #bigpool Things are pretty expensive on property or for that matter just expenisve in general in Hawaii.
Dinner
Our first night we just laid low and walked the beach and watched the most beautifl sunset. At night the beach is usually packed with people watchign the sun go down. Grab a drink and sit on the beach and just enjoy the views. After watching the sun go down we went to dinner at Roy's Waikiki! The food was amazing I had the steak and my husband had the pork chop. Both out of this world! Be sure to get the Choclate Souflle with Vanilla Ice Cream!! This is a must!! #bestchoclatesouffle We walked to dinner from out hotel along the beach it took us about 20 mins but it is a beutiful walk and very safe.
Day 2
We had breakfast at our hotel overlooking the beach. It was about $30.00 for the breakfast buffet but it will have you full all day long! It is worth the money. #bigbreakfast
We had tickets pre booked for Pearl Harbor National Memorial. We took a taxi it was around $15.00 and not a far drive from resort.
We spent pretty much all day here. It is really something to see and very emotional. Take your time walk around, read everything, see everything, watch the movies they provide. It is really a learning experience!
We got back so late that we had dinner at our hotel at the beach restaurant. It was average just hamburgers, fish, sandwhiches mostly bar food but it was good and quick after a long day out.
Day 3
Best Day!! We decided to head over to Hanauma Bay! This is a must if you are in Hawaii especially if you love to snorkel!! The water was crystal blue, there was every fish you coul imagine and we even saw a shark! It is located in a cove about a 25 min driv from the resort. You do pay a small fee to get in but it was nothing crazy. Be sure to bring a towel, charis, drinks, food as there is nothing there to buy. They do have restrooms so that is good. We spent pretty much all day here just swimming and snorkeling. #bestsnorkeling #smallsharks #beautifulfish
After a long day in the ocean we came back to relax by the pool enjoy the drinks and look at the views.
Dinner
If you want great seafood go to Duke's Seafood! It is on the water, the fish is fresh, the views are great, and it is a little pricey but anyhwere you eat in Hawaii will be. But hey if it taste good why not?
