Visiting Ranthambore National Park (often called the “Land of the Tiger") is a treat for every wildlife and nature lovers. It is one of the best places in India to see tigers in the wild. Even if the tigers are hiding during your visit, there's plenty more wildlife around. Apart from the majestic tigers, the park is also famous for spotting animals like hyena, dhole, chital, sambar, nilgai, sloth bear, leopard, wild boar, and other. Visiting Ranthambore National Park is a treat for every wildlife and nature lovers.
Ranthambore National Park is at a 3-hour drive from Jaipur, Rajasthan. There are numerous hotels at the National Park which provide quite a comfortable stay.
Day 1
We first went to Ranthambore Fort which is worth to visit in local sightseeing in Ranthambore. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan in 2013.
We then took the Ranthambore Jungle Safari Tour to experience the rich flora and fauna of Ranthambore National Park.
Day 2
We drove in early moring Jeep Safari at the National Park for Wildlife Viewing in the morning and afternoon. Seeing a tiger is partly a matter of luck; so one has to leave time for two or three safaris to improve the chances.
We got to take some spectacular photos, and good food. The purpose of my visit was relaxation with a peace of mind, and the visit did help.
