-Waited in line about 30 mins for the next boat
-Air B&B took us about 35 mins to get to
-Arrived at our stop where our hosts met us and helped carry our luggage. They were so nice and kind.
-There is a lot of stairs are a lot of walking so do not pack a lot
-Our apartment was on the second floor with a great view of the canals as you opened every window
-My parents went so we got a place with 2 bedrooms. Keep in mind its Europe so most places have two seperate beds in the rooms and things are small.
-The apartment had two bathrooms, living rooms, nice size kitchen and two bedrooms.
-We walked around all of Venice just checking things out and had lunch in the square where we sat sipped wine and they had men playing Italian music.
-Took a 1 hour Gondole ride that was around $20.00 a person. We went all around the canal and they sang to us as we explored. We even went into the Grande Canal which is pretty amazing!
-Went to the famous clock tower in the middle of the square. You can not miss it! It can be seen from everywhere! In the square there are so many birds around that fill the square it is very amazing!
-Afternoon we walked around and found local deli which can be found anywhere you walk and got meats and cheese along with pasta and so many other good Italian foods. If you are hungry stop and eat at any place becuase you will not go wrong!
-Go to the Rialto Bridge and take a picture and walk across it! Go when the sun is going down to get the best pictures!
-Saint Mark's Basilica is a must. It is free to go in but the line is long. Be sure you are covered up if you are not you will have to buy something to cover your legs and arms.
-Doge's Palace is beautiful to photograph
-Night time just walk around to the sound of all the beautiful music playing, stop have wine on the canal, eat wherever smells great to you because it will be great!
