Detail Itineary
Day 01: Fly to Lukala by Plane and Trek To Phakding
We will pick you up from the domestic terminal of the Tribhuvan international airport according to our package time. Before flying we will update you on all the information and safety rules that you have to follow during your flight. Afterwards, we will fly towards the Tenzing-Hillary Airport which is also known as Lukla airport. It takes 35-40 minutes to reach Lukla from where we start our hiking towards Phakding (2,610/8,563ft). After the 4-5 hours of walk, we will rest in the tea house or lodge and glimpse the magnificent view around us from the Phakding. Overnight and prepare ourselves for the next day's trip.
Day 02: Trek To namcha Bazar
Early in the morning after having our breakfast, we start our trek to Namche Bazaar. It is a 6-7 hour trek where we will go through the UNESCO world heritage site Sagarmatha National Park. Additionally, on our way, we also go through the rhododendron forest (the national flower of Nepal), flora and fauna, other high-range mountains, different species, and many more. After reaching the Namche bazaar you can glimpse the magnificent view of mountains from any corner of the valley. If we have time then we will also go out for a conversation with the local people of Namche. Overnight in the hotel or lodge including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 03; Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar & hike to Everest View Hotel
We will stay in Namche for adjusting to the high-altitude weather because our body can early respond to the lower density of oxygen molecules at a particular altitude. If we go too fast then it may cause altitude sickness, so we spend one more day in Namche. But it does not mean we are going to waste our whole time without doing anything. We will hike for 3-4 hours to reach Everest View Hotel (13,000ft.) the highest place hotel in the world. This place is famous for the 360-degree view of Mount Everest from anywhere even from the room of the hotel. We will enjoy our snacks along with the view of Mt. Everest and other mountains too and trek back to the Namche for the overnight.
Day 04: Trek to Tengboche
After having our breakfast we will start 5 hours trek to our destination to Tengboche. During this trek, we will explore the Tengboche monastery (3,860m) the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Moreover, from Tengboche, we can also glimpse the view of Mount Everest from afar which encourages us even more to reach our destination. Moreover, we will walk across the beautiful pine forest, flora and fauna, small rivers, and many more. Overnight in the local lodge or hotel in Tengboche.
Day 05: Trek to Dingboche
We will start our 5 hours trek early in the morning after having our breakfast in Dingboche. During this trek, you will go through the rhododendron forest and also cross the Imja Khola on your way. Then we move our feet towards the Pangboche(3900m) village. This day is probably the most interesting trekking day because you will not lose altitude like on other days along with this we will enjoy the views of Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse and other mountains too. After a steep climb across the river, we will reach to Dingboche at an altitude of 14000ft for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Rest Day Dingboche
On this day we will rest in Dingboche and explore the near sights in Dingboche. We will communicate with the local people of Dingboche. Mostly it is the sherpa village so we have a great opportunity to understand the culture and traditions and to know more about them. Besides this, we will also explore the monasteries nearby the village. However, from Dingboche, we can glimpse the amazing astonishing view of Lobuche East(6119m), Lobuche west (6145m), Taboche Peak (6367m), Thamserku (6608m), Ama Dablam, and other high peak mountains. Overnight in the hotel or lodge of Dingboche.
Day 07: Trek to Lobuche
After having our breakfast we will start our 5 hours trek to Lobuche. We will pass by a number of stone memorials to honour climbers who failed in their attempts to climb mount, Everest. During the trek, we will pass through the Trekkers Aid Post at Pheriche (4240 m), which is maintained by western volunteers and supported by the Himalayan Rescue Association and provides medical care and advice to hikers. The route also offers outstanding views of Cholatse, Thamserku, and several other magnificent peaks. As the trials drop to Khumbu glacier moraine, we will have the closest view of Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal.
Day 08: Hike to Everest base Camp and Return Gorak Shep
Early in the morning, we start our 7 hours trek, this day's trek is different from other days' trek. On this day we will trek to reach our final destination the Everest base camp trek. It is probably the most thrilling day of the trek and reaching our ultimate destinations. After a few hours of walking, we will reach Gorakshep. We'll hike up to the notorious Khumbu icefall and continue our trek to Everest base camp trek. We will move towards the Gorakshep and continue our trek to the Everest base camp. After we reach Everest base camp we not only view the adorable beauty of Mount Everest but also other mountains including Mt. Khutse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Changtse, and many more. We will back to the Gorak shep after exploring Everest base camp overnight.
Day 09: Hike to Kalapathar & Return Gorak Shep to fly Back to Lukla on a Chartered helicopter then fly Back to Kathmandu.
Again early in the morning, we start our hike to Kalapathar, one of the closest viewpoints of Everest. This place is mostly famous for glimpsing the spectacular view of Mount Everest and other high rage mountains like Nuptse (7861m) and Changtse (7543m). Then we will return to Gorak Shep and have our breakfast. This is our last day of the trek we will fly back to Lukla and again to Kathmandu. It is the end of our adventurous and exciting EBC trek with Helicopter return.
