Spent one night in Tulum (at least 1:25hrs drive)
-Stop off on the side of the street to have cut mangoes and coconut
Booked hotel on Booking.com
Day 1 Tulum Hotel - Aroma Hotel
Check in hotel
Drive to Casa Malca to explore your photo sports the following day.
- Casa Malca is a bit expensive and the price is not consistent. There is a cover fee of $50.00 (for beach towels etc.) and another $50.00 to be used on drinks and food. Because I had gone already we did not go ahead with it.
Enjoy the night life of Tulum cause the night life is crazy (sexy attire) and prepare to spend some money. We thought it was a bit too expensive so just walked around and got sucked into a $197 dinner
Download your music for the drive to Bacalar (internet is spotty)
Day 2 (rent a bike if you want to and just go)
- Ven A La Luz (park the car and there is a line for the photo) (26 minutes away from out hotel)
- Follow your dream sign (next to the cute Lolita & Lolita boutique across from SueƱos Tulum)
- Other options Tulum Ruins (I had done this so skipped it)
- Had lunch downtown Burrito Amor (There is on gas station after Burrito Amor)
- Fill up on Gas, grap some water, and snacks for the 2:25ride (IMPORTANT- there are no gas stations along the way)
The only stop is a toll and they only accept pesos and you can fill up on gas if you did not listen to me
Stayed at hotel Poza Claro but Hotel Aires looked really good and have a good breakfast
Tony is your man when you get to Bacalar for your lagoon tour - schedule all with him before
Dinner at El Magico walking distance (no alcohol, but you can buy some drinks and carry it over)
