The Inn at Fossebridge
This was a small country hotel with a pub hotel in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire. My wife found this and we were in love with the place. Very cozy, old-fashioned (in a good way) furnishings. They had a dinner area as part of the pub and outdoor table seating as well in the 'backyard' of the hotel. It was the perfect spot for where we went and stayed for the wedding.
We ended up going to Cirencester nearby and visited this 'town museum.' What sparked our interest in was the archeological aspect; it showed how Cirencester's history went back to ancient Roman times when the Romans had colonized ancient Britain. This was of personal interest for us as former Latin students and fans of ancient Rome!
Very family friendly and interesting place with recreations of how "life was like" in the village times of ancient era.
Cozy pub. Stopped in while it was raining and sat in a corner by the window. Quiet, recommendable place for a pint.
