Trip Summary (Leg One):
Day 1(20th) - We landed and took a Grab to our Hotel which was about a 45 minute drive. Later that night we visited the Sky Bar lounge https://www.lebua.com/sky-bar?utm_source=affilired which offered beautiful views of the city! The only downside were the expensive drinks around $20 U.S. each. We probably stayed for an hour taking pictures of the beautiful skyline. It’s popular due to the Hangover 2 Movie which was filmed there. Later that night we visited the Sugar Club https://www.sugarclub-bangkok.com/en/ . Great drink prices with a night filled with dancing. The genre played there is hip hop, reggae, African, and top 40! We stayed until closing on a Saturday night. A must go if you enjoy clubbing. Remember to bring your passport for entry. Most places turn locals away.
Day 2(21st) - We had to recover from partying most of the day, but still managed to get out and explore more. The first stop was dinner at a restaurant called Aesop’s https://aesopsbangkok.com/. It’s a greek restaurant. I know very random Greek in Bangkok, but it was really good. I would recommend a pass through if you have the time. After dinner we went to one of the many Night Markets in Bangkok. The one we went to is located on Khaosan Rd https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g293916-d546013-Reviews-Khao_San_Road-Bangkok.html . Lots of food, music, and of course massage parlors.
Day 3(22nd) - We visited the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. Please NOTE that these places have dress codes. After visiting the palaces we then went off to the Siam Paragon. It’s a giant mall. You will likely find yourself lost in in these giant structures. While some of went shopping i went to the Sea World Aquarium. The biggest Aquarium that i’ve been too.
I love Thailand! Bangkok is an amazing city.
Thailand is one of the best places to party! Cheap and quality stuff, keep up the good work!
Thanks!
This sounds like an awesome trip, definitely one I can see myself on with some friends. Thanks for posting!
