Solo Euro adventures

Early morning 2 hour flight from Budapest to Barcelona which is the last stop on my trip. Forgot to check in to the flight online and had to pay 50 Euro to check in at the airport. This was something new to me and i was not happy to pay a check in fee. Make sure to read the hidden fees/flight rules for some of these cheap european airlines. Arrived early to Barcelona. I was very tired and decided to take a taxi to the hotel. There are cheaper ways to get in to the city via train and bus if you have the patience and time to figure out.

The hostel i stayed at was nice (Yeah hostel). Arrived on a big holiday (Saint James day i think). Everything was shutting down early and decided to get a haircut. I gave the guy a tip and he looked at me weirdly, Tipping is not common in Europe (lesson learned). He gave me a bottle of beer i think it was for the holiday. Later that day decided to head to the beach with some hostel mates where every one was drinking and there were fireworks. It was a fun night of partying on the beach with fireworks and the whole city on the beach.

The hostel location was near the La Sagrada Familia which is gorgeous and very crowded. The whole city is beautiful architectually and food is amazing. Make sure to try some Tapas and Paella, some of the best in the world. Do walking tours as with any other city provided by your hotel or hostel.
