Day 5: I went with one of the people from the hostel to the beaches (Praia de Dona Ana) which was stunning. There are drinks and food that you can get. We stayed at the beach for a few hours and then headed back. There’s a grocery store right next to the hostel where we were able to pick up dinner and eat and drink on the many balcony’s of the hostel. Relaxing and social day. The hostel provides free breakfast and lunch everyday which was a major plus.
Day 6: Woke up early and headed to Sagres for surfing lessons provided by the hostel. Again they provided free breakfast and I packed a free lunch that I took to the beach with me. I had an incredible time surfing. They taught me the basics and we spent all day practicing our skills. I’ve never surfed before and I was able to stand up and ride some waves! A very beautiful and exciting experience. Highly recommend.
Day 7: Today I spent the day exploring Lagos the city, which has a very historic center. Ate at #NahNahBah which is a fantastic burger joint – highly recommend! I then went to Eddies and Joe’s Garage and partied for the evening. There is a lot of restaurants and nightlife downtown Lagos. You could explore for hours.
Hi Alex, I linked it to the itinerary!
Do you have the link for the cooking class from Airbnb? Want to save for when we are in Portugal as that is a spot my wife and I have not yet been. And this would be great to do especially since you highly recommend! Thanks!
Really helpful hostel recommendation! BBQ in Portugal sounds interesting and delicious too. Saving your trip.
