Upon our arrival we were able to get an Uber fairly quickly from the airport to our hotel. We stayed at the Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort. Which was amazing! Although it was a little pricey, it was completely worth it.
Day 1: We checked into the hotel too quickly unpack and put on our swimsuits. Before heading into the water we enjoyed a cocktail at Bistro Molokini which had a great happy hour menu. There were nine different pools which were connected together by a river that carried us from one to the next. With a mixture of "kid" friendly areas and more adult spots with a swim up bar. After enjoying the pool we decided to check out Maui Brewing Co. where we enjoyed some drinks and great food.
Day 2: We decided to get an early start and go for a walk alongside the beach which connected to the other resorts and a small cafe that had great coffee and quick breakfast bites. After our walk we went for a quick swim in the ocean and laid out on the beach. After freshening up in the room we booked another Uber to the shops at Wailea which was a super neat outdoor shopping center. We ate at the Pint & Cork which I would highly recommend. Their mac and cheese with black truffle oil was delicious. After some food and shopping we went back to the hotel where we again laid by the pool until our late dinner at Bistro Molokini.
Day 3: Our last day was the most relaxing. We ordered a late room service breakfast and leisurely went back down to the beach / pool area were we spent the majority of the day soaking up as much sun as we could. Before wrapping up to get ready for dinner we were lucky enough to get a great view of a sea turtle close to where we were on the beach. For dinner this night we tried out Monkey Pod which was super delicious.
