Day 1:
Get a cab and go to Monh it is the Monastry Paleokastritsa. It sits on top of a hill and you can have th emost beautiful views of Corfu. From the top you can see water, mountains and all of the land. It will take about 20 mins to get here from the town. Make sure you are covered up meaning shoulders and down to knees. This is free to view they just ask for a small donation.
Head down to Nikos Restauran and eat right on the ocean. This is a small beach town it is locatd in. The restaurant offers local food and all made fresh. It was some of the best we had while in Greece. Make sure you get the bread spread! It is amazing and the fresh bread is even better.
Activities:
Rent a pedal boat which will run you about $40.00 and you can have it for a few hours. You can get this right at the beach they have tons of them.
Go out into the caves pedal out around the big mountain and you will see so many fish and you can go into the caves with the little boat it will fit.
You can also rent snorkel gear on the beach. I recommend renting that and taking it on the little pedal boat with you and you can get off in the water anywhere and swim in the caves and snorkel.
The water is very very cold but it is so pretty and blue.
Great itinerary!!!
So jealous, I'd love to explore Greece. Great itinerary!
@stephwood I have not been to Rhodes but from being in Corfu I can tell you that it was out of this world and I would recommend it to anybody!! It is so beautiful and the food is amazing!
One of the Greek islands is top of my travel list when I can finally travel again. Trying to decide between Corfu and Rhodes. Have you been to Rhodes?
