Day 1:

We had two very quick days in Santorini filled with fun and love. We checked into the Vedema, a Luxury Collection Resort, Santorini. It was the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen! Everything white as can be with blue water when looking out! It was close to everything and if it was not then taking a taxi was easy and cheap. You can pretty much walk anywhere and you really want to just to see everything in Greece. Thi hotels runs about $550.00 a night. It is pricey but its a great hotel with so much beauty that you really do not want to leave it. The hotel does offer a shuttle on request from the airport to the hotel for around $60.00

-Take a donkey ride up the hill! You start at the bottom by the water and take it all the way up and around. It takes around 10 mins and is around $5.00 for this. The donkeys move slow but the views on the way up are amazing and it beats walking up about 400 steps!

-Once at the top you can walk around and look at all the beautfiul white buildings with blue tops and there are restaurants on every side of the hill. Pick one have a drink and a glass of wine.

-For dinner to got the Sunset on the water and eat fresh fish! It is caught daily and they even hang it up over the water for you to view. Sometimes the water comes up over the wall as you sit and eat and your feet get wet. It is an experience. Try not to wear good shoes or take them off as you sit there and eat.

Day 2

-We went an took a tour around Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. It is beautiful and I recommend going to check out this church.

-Take a boat ride around Santorini and view the mountains from the water and all of the white builidings. You can catch a boat at the main enterance of Santorini at the bottom of the hill. You can walk up and book this at any time. It is not pricey and if you have time I recommend doing it. Seeing the Island from the water is a totally different feel.

-There are shops all around on the side of the mountains take a few hours walk around and check them out. They sell a lot of nice things at decent prices.

-If you want a great dinner go to Naoussa its on the top of the mountain and the views are so beyind words! Go during sunset and watch the sun go down and then see Santorini lit up at night. Anything you order will be great so try it all!
