Day 3:- we arrived to puducherry via bus and were pretty tired from the journey. Anyway we actually booked a hostel in the city from Oyo.com. the entire town was filled with French architecture except for the north of the town. This town is famous for its beaches and cleanliness, the freedom fighter of India called sri aurobindo resided there took a meditation path and died there. Hence, the whole town is filled with that vibe. Alcohol is the cheapest compared to the rest of the country.we can see the people living the humble life up there. In the evening we went to shopping street just opposite the beach and bought some souvenirs for the family back home. The dinner was a local monastery which they will gladly serve you for free.and we crashed
Day 4:- today we were visiting AUROVILLE the self sustaining city of india where there is no currency. Only food for work. All types of people from around the world live there. They work for their living there. Auroville was a delight to see. The people were soo pleasant and delightful it makes you wonder if the money is root cause of all evil. They gave us unlimited cookies as we entered and also the food was pretty cheap.then we visited the golden ball in the auroville itself , it was basically a meditation chamber and no one was allowed to talk in it. It also has a crystal ball. Then we just headed back to hotel.
Day 5:- we had to say sayonara to this beautiful city and their culture and leave to home.
