Day 1: We reached Denver with my family and friends' family at night. Picked up a rental car! We stayed at a hotel near Aurora. The next morning we rented a car and drove to Colorado springs. Anyone also can use other riding options to reach there. We spent the whole day sightseeing and hiking. If you want, you also can take the shuttle loop trip with a guide (around $17 for guide). The shuttle loop brings visitors from the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center to Juniper Way Loop, which connects to a trail to the Central Garden. The shuttle, which operates from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., also stops at the Overflow Parking Area and at Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site.
Day 2:
Next day we headed to the Chatfield Reservoir. Great area with lots of outdoor activities available. From water recreation, biking, hiking, camping and more this place has great views, is well maintained. We had our picnic and relaxing day.
