We Arrived early morning for a stop in Okinawa Japan. At first I was thinking to myself what will we see here? But there is so much and so much beauty.
-We checked into the Renaissance Okinawa Resort and it was beyond words! It was right on the water and it had everythign! The rooms were big and nice, the staff was amazing, the resort was bright and very open and they had traditioanl Japan style decor and the food was all local. Everything was great!
-First make you way over to the town where there is so much going on in the streets
-There are vendors every where and the locals are all making and selling local food. It was so hard to choose which to eat
-Be sure to get homemade Fish Chips! They make them right in front of you so they are hot and fresh and they are so good!
-Make your way over to the Temple. You can buy ticekts when you get there to get in. Make sure you are covered and dressed properly out of respect. It was busy with a lot of people there waiting to get in.
-This may sound weird but if you pass a Hot Dog Toprank be sure to stop and get a hot dog! It might be the best hot dog I have ever had.
-Walk by the Uinted States Army Signal. It is right in town where you will be seeing all the vendors and visting the Temple.
-Do not miss getting sushi from a moving belt that just spits it out at you as you sit at a table and you pick which one you want. These could be found pretty much at any restaurant in Japan
Spend time walking around the town and taking in all of the local vendors that are on the streets. Everything is fresh and everybody is looking to help you with everything. Act like a local and get in there and enjoy it.
