Day 1: We arrived later in the day into Nashville. We did not rent a car becuase we were spending time in the city and we knew everything we wanted to do was in walking distance and we can take ubers everywhere! We stayed at the courtyard Nasvhille Downtown. It s very nice hotel but boy am I glad we did not rent a car becuase parking was $45.00 a day! The hotel was clean centeral to everything in downtown!
Activities: We went to the Johnny Cash Museum which was around the corner from our hotel and it was go educational on the life oh Johnny it was very interesting. It was around $25.00 a person depending on which ticket you wanted to buy. You could add on some extras if you wanted to. It took about 2 hours to walk the entire museum. There are things to read, pictures to look at, little clips to view and so much more. #museum
Dinner: There are 2 places I highly recommend for dinner in downtown Ellingtons they have the best tenderloin and chicken and dumplings. #bestdumplings Second place for dinner is Deacon's New South! try the Chili noodles with Louisiana crawfish and you will love it!
Bars: Honky Tonk Centeral is not to be missed, The Stage On Broadway and Jason Aldean's Kitchen and Rooftop Bar! These are all fun bars with live music and dancing. #countrybars
Day 2: We decided to take an uber into the country a little and go to a winery for the day. We went to Arrington Vineyards and it was worth the $50.00 uber ride. Set back in the country side it was peacful and sat on a hill. They had indoor and outdoor seating and seating all on the lawns. You can sit up on the hill and just look at all the vineyards. The wine was very good with a lot to chose from and they had meat and chesse plates you could buy to eat along with little snacks. #winery
We went in June and the weather was perfect for walking a city being it gets very hot and humid in TN in the summer. If you can go mid June! The weather is just perfect! Nights are still warm and the day temps are lows 80s.
@stephwood oh there are so many great places in Nashville. The Grand Ole Opry is amazing. If you can catch a show there that is even better!
Nashville is top of my bucket list, I'm a big country music fan but don't get to indulge because I'm based in the UK. Other than the Johnny Cash Museum and great bars, where else would you recommend for a country fan?
My hometown! So many great bars there, you should also check out Bourbon Street Blues and The George Jones. I could go on
I love Nashville, one of my favourite cities, great itinerary!
