Drive into Connecticut and the first stop you must make is at Mystic Pizza! Not only is it in a moive and famous but the pizza is huge and delicious!!! Mystic Pizza was made famous from the moivew Mystic Pizza! Wheny you walk in there are pictures of the moive everywehere and the moive stars who were in it and there are things that are signed and all over the pizza shop.

If you are an oyster lover head over to S&P Oyster Restaurant and Bar. It is set right on the water with great views and the food is delicious. You can choos to sit inside or inside. The views outside are great. Prices are average nothing crazy.

Activities

Check out the Mystic Seaport Museum it has all old things from boats and the area. Some is inside and most is outside for you to walk around and explore.

Walk around the olde Mistick Village where it is set up as an old New England Village. It is very charming with shopping and things to taste as you walk around.

Walk around the Mystic River and see the River Bascule Drawbridge as it opens.

Rent a bike and check out the local area. There are so many great spots to stop and have a picnic. Grab some wine and chees from a local store and sit on the grass and watch the boat go past. Depending on where you rent from a bike rental usually goes for around $25.00 to $40.00 for the day.

Where To Stay 

If you are looking for a unique and amaing place to stay then stay at the Steamboat Inn. The pirces vary depending on the time of year you go but they average around $200.00 a night. It is right on the water and it is beautiful. Rooms are decorated in the theme of boats and they are all large. Boats dock right in front of the hotel and people get off walk around. It is a beautiful setting at night. Some rooms offer fireplaces and others have balconies where you can sit on the deck and watch the boats come in and out.
